Supercamp Clinic scheduled for Tuesday, 8/19 from 5pm to 8pm.  Join Karl Klark, AA pro Deke Brown and our very own Alise Post for 3 incredible hours of BMX training.  $35 gets you on the track!

What a day!  283 riders, 54 motos and over 3" of rain!  The race is in the books with a delayed start and 2 more rain delays.  I am in awe at the work the volunteers at Pineview Park did and the belief of all the racers that we would pull off this race in these conditions.  My hats is off to Minnesota BMX!

Pit Bike Palooza run by Kevin Riedeman immediately after the mains at the State Finals!  More details to follow!

Friday night Registration 6 to 7 pm, $10 or register for all 3 days for $50 and get Friday free!  Saturday Registration 11:30am to 1pm $20.  Sunday State Finals registration 9am to 11am $30.

The dates have been set for the State Championship Finals.  August 22nd will be a single point race Friday evening, August 23rd will be a Double point race Saturday afternoon and August 24th will be the State Championship Finals Sunday all day.  Registrations times, prices and package deals are coming soon.

I have just been notified that the we will be hosting the State Championship Finals!  Check back for dates and registration times.  There are lots of State Qualifiers left to get your three in!

Check out www.alltheracing.com and www.I94bmx.com for more information and ways to donate to the Martin's.

Below is an update on the tragic accident to Alyssa Martin in Fergus Falls.  Alise and Cheryl have already collected some donations in Atlanta and jerseys and # plates to be raffled off.  We are hoping to make this happen during the State race series and get all tracks to participate.  The drawing for the raffle will be held at the State Finals (as long as it's ok with the track that wins it).  We all need to do as much as we can for the Martin's and keep them in our prayers.

Hi everyone,

If you have not heard we had a tragic accident happen at the I-94 BMX track on Friday night. Cameron and Larae Martin's daughter Alyssa was seriously injured. The kids were playing tug of war and we believe that she had the rope wrapped around her fingers. "She says she did not and we will leave it at that." Anyways her fingers were mangled and were pulled off her left hand. She was rushed by ambulance on Friday evening and was in surgery at 3:30a on Saturday morning. She was in continuous surgery till Saturday at 6:45p. They were able to re- attached all 4 fingers. She got through the night and on Sunday they had trouble with her ring finger. She went back into another 5 hr surgery again to save it. They took a vein from her foot to fix it,  all went well. On Monday morning she had trouble with her pinky finger that it had looked to be failing. They attached a leech to it and it was able to bring the color back like it is suppose to be. On Monday late evening she had trouble again with her pinky finger. They went into another 5 hr surgery again to insert a vein in it. It was one finger that they did not put a vein in yet. All went well.
I talked to LaRae a few minutes ago and now they are waiting to hear from the Dr. again.  Alyssa's pointer finger is not maintaining the temperature that  it should be. They are waiting to see if the Dr. thinks that they can do more surgery to maintain it or if they need to make a decision on what to do. Keep them in your prayers. Derik and Tyler had a BMX gate clinic  tonight at our home and they  raised $120.00 for the Martins family. For those of you that have not heard, the Fargo BMX track passed a hat last night at their race and the Fargo track matched it. They are bringing a check for $1000.00 for the Martin's on Thursday night. Thanks to everyone for all their thoughts and prayers and help!!!

Talk to you all soon!!

Wednesday Practice on June 11th is cancelled due to rain.  We will hope that the forecast clears up for Thursday's race.

New track e-mail pineviewparkbmx@pineviewparkbmx.com is up and running.

The Race Against Hunger was a huge success with Riders and Pineview Park joining together to donate over $900 of cash and food to the Salvation Army Food Shelf!  Steve and Linda, representatives from the Salvation Army, stated that we had raised enough to feed 10 families of five for a week.  Thank you to everyone that participated.

It looks the weather is going to perfect for the race against hunger so gather up your donations and head out to the track.  The award for this race is a Pineview Park t-shirt for all registered riders!

The track got beat up pretty bad Thursday and Friday with the heavy rains.  The crew is getting it all fixed up as I'm typing this Saturday morning.  With all the rain in the forecast stay tuned in to this page and the track phone, 320-230-7820, for race updates.

Remember that Monday, June 9th is the Race Against Hunger so bring in cash (preferably) or a non-perishable food item and receive up to $5 off your race fee!  The team that brings in the most $ worth receives a 2 hour private practice session at the track!
